Hi there friends, family, and spotaneous Googlers. I have EXTREMELY exciting news to share with you!

You may remember that a few months ago I posted a story about hiking in the Nicaraguan cloud forest. I submitted the piece to a writing competition and I am thrilled to announce that it was accepted! It will be published in the Women Travel Latin America anthology later this month.

The anthology is called Alone Together: Tales of Sisterhood and Solitude in Latin America. It features stories from thirty-six women about their experiences in Latin America. It has been praised by some pretty big names in travel writing and I, for one, cannot wait to read it!

The book will be released on November 21 in both electronic and paperback versions. You can buy it at a very reasonable price on Amazon.

Look for more updates and publicity over the next few weeks. As always, thank you all for supporting me and Furiosities. It’s been a wild ride so far and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

One last thing…

If you haven’t yet, consider signing up for my newsletter. You’ll get occasional, non-spammy email updates when I post new stories or have more exciting news like this. It’s the best way to stay tuned to what’s happening with me and my writing!
